Hey there everyone!
My chicks are about 3 1/2 weeks old, and they are starting to smell in my house no matter how much I clean their area. I'm wondering if I put their coop in the garage and put a heat lamp in there, would they be alright?
I thought this will help them transition to the coop, while still protecting from the cold nights this time of year in central Ohio.
Thoughts? Is it still too cold? Would the coop in the garage help out? I've stay been keeping them at 70-75° or so during the day

Mine are five weeks and I am ready to kick them out! LOL
I have mine in the basement in a side room as of last weekend. Cleaning the box out everyday doesn't keep the stink away. I think I read somewhere they're good to go at six weeks. I'm playing it by ear with this southern Indiana weather....
