Brooder Heaters

I lay the pad on top of the rack, then place a towel over it and I tape the whole thing to the rack.

never seen some of these home made heating pad electric brooder hens something to think about if mine breaks.

I do have a titan electric brooder hen it says is can take up to 20 chicks a time but I keep my chicks in a warm room to start with so in my case I think I could get away with more chicks with it because of it being in a warm room. I bought it for roughly $42 last year, I know is seems like a lot but it's worth it's a good piece of kit to have it warms up quit quickly so if you forget to set it up it does not take long to get it up and running warm.
