Best way to introduce chicks to the flock for me was what I learned from BYC community:thumbsup

My only problem is some of the big girls will squeeze in and eat starter food and my 11 week olds are now enjoying layer pellets,
can I just put my pullets on layer feed now?
Suggestions would be great
Sorry if I start new thread if one exists already but I didn't find one for this,,,ty all

Your solution is to feed the chick starter to all the adult chickens as well as the chicks, then, as @aart says, feed everyone all flock feed. Layer feed has no place in a mixed flock so toss it out or save it until all of your chickens are laying.

When a flock consists of roosters, old retired biddies, young chicks and layers, the best practice is to feed an all flock feed such as Flock Raiser and provide oyster shell free choice so the chickens that needs extra calcium can meet their own needs.
