Brooder in your house, will chicks be able to sleep ok?

They are in our living room with the TV blaring, video games being played, dog bouncing around, people yapping. You look over and they are all passed out cold. Doesn't seem to be an issue and they are totally used to people and the dog wandering around them. We let them out to run around twice a day as well, following with the paper towels to grab the poop, unless the dog eats it first....

Mine are doing great in the house. I have them downstairs in a xlarge dog crate. They sleep even when it's noisy upstairs. They hear everything. As long as they are happy, they are pretty quiet. There has been any issues with us sleeping either.

I have mine right outside of my bed room, that way I could hear if there were any distress sounds the 1st few nights, and I love the soft happy trilling noises they make. These will have to move to the basement when my EE chicks hatch Easter weekend, but then I can hear happy chick sounds again.

Ours slept perfectly fine in our bathroom, but boy they sound like a herd of elephants early in the morning! Mine responded very well to the light, they would be up playing until I came in at night and turned the lights off they settled down pretty quickly after that and went to sleep.

I have 2 new babies in the brooder in the craft room. I like to keep them in for the 1st week as this is the critical week to me. Especially with shipped chicks. I like being able to be right there if they need fast assistance and ofcourse just to socialize with them cus they are sooooo cute. Noise so far has not been an issue here.

I have a aweful hatch rate with shipped eggs I seem to only get 1 to 3 out of each hatch. Even have an idiot proof bator that maintains the temp and humidity well. Poor things get so scrambled in shipping. (sorry I wandered off topic)

Ok to make up for it here is the 2 in the house brooder aren't they cute? The white one is Cotton and the golden one is Candy.

I now brood all of my chicks in the garage, and have my incubators in the music room.
