I just sold my 9 extra cochins today, plus my exchequer leghorn (she was a little crossbeaked). My daughter started to tear up when we started to put them in the box (she had names for them all) but we just didn't have space for 20 chickens. They are all going to the same home though, a nice big farm (20 acres) with many other chicks and chickens. Plus they said they would give me e-mail updates/pics of how they are doing

Now my brooder looks so empty, only 9 chicks left. We are going to TSC monday. I must resist the chicky temptation.

Buy three....you can't bring home just one chick in a box in this winter weather & you can't have an odd number of chicks.... It's the Law, I'm pretty sure.

List

1. Thou shall not have less than 10 chickens
2. Thou shall not have an odd number amount of chickens
add one!

#1 needs to have "unless prohibited by law or ordinance"

3.Thou shall not have less than one Roo to protect those 10 hens

I know, my daughter said we need more colors. We have to many brown and black ones. Just one more wouldn't hurt.... or two....or three
