Brooder question

I will be getting 55 chickens in May and wanted to know how much room do they need at first?

Well, they grow very fast. I assume non meat type? I'd have that 200 sq foot coop ready soon! Just keep an eye on them and if they look cramped, give them a bigger area. I keep up to 20 leghorns or 15 dual purpose or 6 cornish x in a brooder that is about 3x4 feet for up to four weeks.
