brooder raised vs broody raised

anyone notice that brooder chicks are much friendlier than broody hen raised??
I raised my 1st 6 chicks by hand (had contact with them everyday) they are now 1-1/2 yrs old
I had a hen hatch 4 chicks about a month ago.. she isn't very happy I try to hold them every day.. and the are tough buggers to catch in the run!!!
anyone have trick to get them to come to like the rest of my flock??
I'm trying to be persistent but I don't want to make the skiddish either..

IME (long ago as a kid) the chicks got friendly as they got older and realized that people were the source of treats, LOL! I wouldn't bother to chase them and handle them, I'd just make sure they were used to me being around and spend my time luring the hen to me with treats so she teaches the chicks to trust you.
