I just finished building my brooder for my freedom rangers that are coming tomorrow. Here are some pics tell me what you all think.
It is 4x8x2 It cost me all of $12.
$5 for the Dimmer switch
$4 for one of the light fixture (already had one)
$1 for screws (Plenty left over for other projects)
$2 for hinges (for the lid)
The wood was free ( Pays to have a father-in-law that has a cabinet shop). The wiring was salvaged off of a dead vacum before it went to the dumpster.
The waterers were on sale this week (perfect timing)
I will post pics of it with its occupants settled in tomorrow
