Well, I don't have a stock tank level size but I have like a garage storage container... Do you think that's enough space for 3-4 chicks? Plus waterer, feeder, cozy coop heater?

How big is the storage container? I raised seven chicks in only about 8sq feet, or a 2'X4' sized container. I moved them outside at five weeks old into a tiny coop and run with 55 sq feet until they were 8 weeks old and I put them in with my big chickens.

I would recommend the brindles a eco glow or electric I find them muuccchhh better then the heat lamps as they have a choice of hot and cold and no bulbs can blow or anything

I'm going with Cozy Coop Heater hoping it works with my space . I have a window screen do you think that would work for keeping chicks in?

Yep! I have one just for chicks.

It's in my cellar. I'm gonna go get one once I measure the backyard for chicken coop space

Just asking... How many chickens do you own?

Seventeen currently. I've brooded two batches of chickens and let a hen hatch twice. I had two different predator attacks and lost some birds over the summer and have dispatched one rooster so far. The number changes a lot! Hoping to get to 30-40 by this time next year.

I found these coop plans on my pet chicken. When It says 8 feet deep, does that mean length?
