whats the best (or whats too high of heat) temp for the brooder under the light ?
Quote:Day one through 7 should be between 95/90 degrees. You should have a thermometer in the brooder to regulate the temperatures until you learn by the chicks' behavior where the heat lamp should be. The temps decrease by five degrees each week, so you'll want to raise up the heat lamp incrementally until you get to the desired temperature.
