BROODER thread! Post pics of your brooders!

Here is my brooder.


It has a removable divider in the middle.



This is the left side of the brooder. I added some roosts to it for when the chicks are older.



This is the starter side. (I had the pile of shavings under the heat lamp to make sure it was getting to 95 degrees under the light with a thermometer)





This is what the doors look like.

It's a simple brooder, but it gets the job done!

Just finished my first brooder.It was made of free wood from work

[/IMG] The chicks seem to love all the extra room.
 
I wanted to show you some updates we made. We put in a 8 foot roosting bar. We also added a thermometer. And then we upgraded to more and larger food, water, and grit feeders. I have 2 kinds of feed in there. 1 organic homemade mix I blend and another organic feed store bag. The coop is 8 foot by 2.5 feet. Currently have 24 chicks in there. I have the other 10 separated due to age/size. So here are the before photos I have posted on this thread. Then the left side of the brooder and the right side of the brooder.
