Here's ours! They were in the tote on the left, they were so happy with a bigger house! Now the have almost outgrown it!!

We put in a door so they could come out for chick recess!

Here they are at 5 weeks!

These are our Bruderer brooders lol. They are recycled press boxes. We just couldn't pass up the pun.

I don't trust those clamps around all that flammable material either, I wire mine up using the loop on the top of the light.

I actually put a cup hook in my ceiling and then I ran some cord threw the clap and tied a good knot into it this way i can hang it off the cup hook and as I need to lower it or bring it up i just adjust the knot. It has worked great so far. I just moved mine into a bigger brooder area as well. Need to find my camera I think its in DH's truck.

My backup is the power cord, I loop that up through the ceiling hook too just in case; I also clamp the clamp thingy to the wire that goes to the metal loop in top of the lamp. Overkill I guess but I can sleep at night.
