She finally stopped and went to sleep (not under the light, just outside the brightest part) and then another of the newbies was the ONLY one up and she was cheeping. I moved her towards food but instead went and nestled down beside some of the other sleeping chicks, again not under the light. I feel like I can assume that if they were cold they would be directly under the light (or could they be that dumb...?) and that maybe they just want some company? Do chicks sleep together out of habit or only if they are cold??
