Hi I'm new to raising poultry and I was considering ducks and I was wondering is it better to buy a brooder or make one

If both your ducks are hens layer feed should be sufficient, a long with oyster shells, scratch grains, grit.. etc. I don't know if it's the same for a drake, but I've been told not to give layer feed to roosters, so I give my flock just a broad spectrum feed and have oyster shell available for the hens whenever they want.
