Broodie egg disappeared.

So i have a broodie who was sitting on three eggs. two BO eggs and a EE egg. Well the where scheduled to hatch today but this morning when i went to gather eggs, i looked under her cause our leghorn lays her eggs in the same box, and she was missing the green EE egg. there are 4 boxes on the bottom and on the top is like a troth. She is in the bottom right box and everyone else lays in the troth on the right side. could another chicken have stolen it or what? I want to think something got in there and took the egg but i dont get how it would have gotten out of the coop. any suggestions.

She might have eaten it. They sometimes eat the eggs that are not fertile.
My big old granny hen that is broody now, ate two of the eggs under her.

Snakes and rats sometimes steal eggs right out from under hens.

I think rats stole eggs out from under my broody once.

They'll eat the whole thing, shell and all.
