Hello everyone. @WVduckchick and I thought a thread for pictures of broody hens and their babies would be a good idea. Who can resist an adorable face peeking out from under momma? All species of poultry are welcome.

To get us started:

We'd love to see all y'alls pictures.....

I have several broodies going right now! I'll start with just a few random pics

Harriet - mixed OEGB, with her 4 (hatched 5/30-5/31)

Maggie - another mixed OEGB and her 7, hatched last week

Katherine - bantam cuckoo cochin hatched 8

My golden comet had hatched 3 as of yesterday, many more possible.

I still have a broody lavender orpington due any day now, and a broody chocolate orpington, sitting on Silver Duckwing OEGB eggs, due later this week!

And not to forget my duck, who started the whole broody contagion a couple of months ago!

So cute!!!

This is not the best pic, but I thought it was so sweet to watch the mama call her chicks & feed them treats.
How sweet!
