checking on my chickens when i got home around dusk today, i found one of my bielefelder hens in a nest box, and all the other birds on the roosts across the coop. when i checked under her for eggs, she stayed in the nest and made strange chuckling noises. if she's still on that nest tomorrow morninr, i'b going to put all the bielefelder egge i have on hand (12) under her and see what happens. i have 6 crele bielefelder hens and one silver bielefelder hen. i have two roos, both silver bielefelders. i don't know what to expect, but i figure all i have to lose is a dozen eggs. here's hoping. any suggestions?
