I am really upset my broody hen sat on fertislised eggs today is day 22 and i found it dead.This is my first time hatching eggs.Idk it must have starved to death.

That is really sad. I am so sorry for your loss.

On the flip side that is one determined chicken if she starved herself to death in an effort to hatch her eggs.

I've never hatched eggs, I don't think I could emotionally deal with dead chickens, unhatched eggs and pips that stop pipping.
