Brooding buttons & coturnix together ?

Oh yes, I remember now. I had to send the buttons later because the goofies decided to slack-off on me

My coturnix are a big variety, all seperated of course. I have a pen with jumbo browns (9 hens, 2 roos), A&M (1 roo, 5 hens), tuxedo (1 dark tibetan tux roo, 1 dark tibetan tux hen, 2 dark tibetan not-tux hens, 1 rosetta tux hens), goldens (1 golden male, 1 golden female, 1 rosetta female, 1 rosetta tux female, 1 pharaoh female).

I have a pen with cinnamons and red/goldens, but I don't think you got any of their eggs. They haven't been laying very long.

But you should have quite a variety of colors in the mix

You probably have more, the rosetta tux's aren't marked very well. If any are reddish colored (kind of like browns but without the stripes) that have yellow on their faces, that's a tux also.

The dark tibetan tux's are the ones that are marked really well, and they look black and yellow when they hatch. I'll find my baby pics and show you.

Here's some baby pics

In this one, there are 2 tuxedo babies, the black one with yellow on its face in the back, and the reddish one in front of it. The black is a dark tibetan, reddish is rosetta tibetan.

This one has the same black and yellow one in the back, then the one laying on the floor in the middle is also a tuxedo, a rosetta on that. There is also a dark tibetan tux on the right, in front of the others.

This one has 3 in the corner, there are 3 yellow chicks (A&M), 1 golden (yellow with brownish stripes), then 3 tuxedos. They are 2 dark tibetans and a rosetta. The rosetta just has a bit of yellow around the eyes.

Yet another pic of the dark tibetan tux baby.

This one has a tux (dark tibe) on the left facing the camera, another dark tibe in the back looking up, another one on the right, behind the browns. You can just see its face by the A&M chick. Then there is a rosetta tux in the very front (side view).

This is also a rosetta tux, with better markings than the others.

Anyway, as you can see, the tuxedos don't necessarily have the all-yellow breasts and bellies, I'll have to work on those

That was helpful

I for sure have some dark tibetan tux, rosetta tibetan tux, A&M and golden babies.
What are the yellows that have a couple of black dots on them ?
One of the yellow chicks hatched with a patch of white down. Very intresting. I'll work on getting some photos.

Yellow with dots on them are still A&M, they can be pure yellow, or yellow with dark patches on them. Most of the ones I have hatched have been pure white.
