hi
I hatched 5/6 silkie bantams and have had them for nearly two weeks
I keep them in a brooder indoors which is basically someone on eBay selling a plastic box with a heat lamp attachment although very good and would recommend
when can you turn off the heat lamp and when can you transfer them to layers pellets
also are there any treatments or medicines you need to give them
thanks

Turning off the heat lamp depends on where you live and how warm it is. They need heat til they are feathered about 6 weeks on average. I still have the heat on mine who are 6 weeks now. They do get to go outside because it is 80+ during the day. They need to stay on chick food until they start laying eggs. Somewhere from 6 months to possibly a year. Hope this helps.

hi live in England and there is a heater right near them thanks for that
