Brooding hen does it cause other not to lay

Hello and welcome to the BYC flock, Not for an extended period, my broody terrified the others and for a day or 2 didn't get any eggs,but then found where they had decided to lay as she wouldn't let them in to lay in the coop, the best thing you can do is partition off a space for the broody in the coop or move her so the others can lay in the boxes before it becomes a habit they make ya go on an egg hunt
