Brooding hen

I have seen a ton of threads about brooding hens but nothing about ones that cant sit on Fertilized eggs.
So i have a hen that has been very committed to broody but i do not have any fertilized eggs for her to sit on and i dont want her to either. what can i do to break her? shes a good hen a bit of a witch...which is why her name it B****y Witchy. Can i let her stay on a few eggs even if they arent fertilized.

Put her in a crate, raised off the ground slightly (preferably in the coop and give her food and water) for 3-4 days. If she continues to be broody after that time, then repeat
