Brooding Hen...

What are the chances that my Red Comet hen who is brooding 3 of her own 4 day old chicks will accept some other breed chicks that I would like to buy?
She is doing such a good job, if she would take on some more
chicks I would love to try it!!

You might be able to sneak them under her at night. But be prepared for an alternative plan if she won't accept them.

I have tried that before. The new chicks were afraid of the mother hen. Like said above, have another plan. Good luck.
