Is brooding in the coop okay? i mean the brooder is at 85 degrees, ventilated fresh food water, and COMPLETELY separate from the big chickens.. Is it okay if they are in there? I just cleaned the coop out.. as i do every week now, and they will be coming in 2 weeks.. (hopefully my and grandma got in fight!

) So will they be okay? And vice versa.. will the older chickens be okay? Im a lil worried about lack of ventilation but they have little holes (about 1 inch wide) covered in hardware cloth close to the roof.. but the 2 windows will have to be shut. They will free range okay so hopefully they will be fine?

You may need to put a light above their brooder. The first week they need to be warmer than 85. But other than that they should be fine. Just make sure the older chickens can not get to them.
