Brooding too long without ducklings

My year old black Swedish has been sitting on six eggs way longer than 28 days. She has probably been brooding on them for at least 35 days. I don’t think the eggs are viable, do I just take them when she is off the nest?

Do you have a candling light? You can even just use a flashlight and candle the eggs real quick when she’s off.

You can then either remove the bad ones or mark them so you know when checking again which are which.

At 35 days they should have hatched by now but I would check before just removing them.

Cell phone flashlight works well for candeling. Candeling is best in the dark, but sometimes you can tell in the light with duck eggs.
Normally a duck will stop brooding once eggs are removed.
