Broody again is this normal?

My same two hens are broody again, a cochin and a welsummer . They hatched out 29 eggs only 9 weeks ago. Their eggs hatched the same day and they raised the chicks together. I sold their babies just 3 weeks ago. Is this normal for the same two hens to go broody at the same time this soon?

I think it is, or I have strange hens. The two Sissies go broody and hatch together all the time. Duchess hatched out, then went broody and has hatched again, along with the duck ladies who do it together.

Sounds like you have a pair of low cost incubators. You could probably get them to hatch other kinds of eggs if you are a little sneaky.

Yes, totally normal. It seems that my broody hens are on a regular schedule. I had 2 that hatched out babies at the same time earlier in the year, and sure enough, they both went broody at the same time and hatched out some brand new babies for me a few weeks ago.
