broody and her babies

my broody adopted 6 tsc chicks and was raising them great - but then she decided she didnt like 3 of them so had to separate them. I have 12 chicks total so i decided to put them all together with a lamp - and had to boot her out (she's already killed one she didnt like) so now she's pacing outside the brooder and freaking - and the 3 she liked are also freaking. I dont have the room to put her in her own place with these three. So - how long do you think it will be before she just moves on? the combined babies are getting along pretty well - and i want them to used to each other before i mix them with my older ones later on

I'm sorry she killed a chick.

My broody started weaning (chasing mostly) when they were about 4 weeks old. But she never hurt them. What kind of space are they in? How big of an area?

it was a tsc brooder hutch - she just didnt like the new ones for some reason on the upside - i got 4 more tonight - and the other chicks just cuddled with them
