Broody behavior....

Just cracks me up!

During treat time Louise barges from the coop, races down the ramp, and pushes her sisters out of the way to get a piece of bread. All the while she's doing the chucking noises broodies are known to make.

Then she jumps on the stump and keeps every one off....

She glares at her sisters....

Stan the Man tries to placate her with a tantalizing snack....

Then she races back to the coop making her chuck-chuck noises the entire way!

I think they are so cute when they are broody (as long as they don't bite!). Are you going to let her set some eggs?

No. I don't have the space to raise more chickens.

She's so pretty! I've had a semi-broody, and she was so mean when she was broody! Hopefully, Louise is nicer than Petunia!
