I finally got tired of trying to take the eggs from my blue slate when she was off the nest, so today I just piled all of the eggs of hers that I was saving up in her nest when she took her break. We'll see how well she does. 14 eggs, all date marked. It will be interesting. Mid May should be their hatch date.

She's a trooper. My 16th should be the hatch date. I'll install a bridge with sides over the drainage ditch, as she is on the other side. Actually, that is where all my hens are laying. I may rig a feeder for her, or at least drop some off for her daily.
