Broody breaking experiment: "The bunny cage method"

My first time having to break a broody and I didn't want to go too hard on Raven. I put her in a dog cage with food and water and a newspaper floor. But she could stick her head through the gaps and I didn't want her to hurt herself. So I used a bunny cage.

So introducing....

The Bunny Cage Method!

I invented this myself. Instead of a hard wire floor and a roost, it has a newspaper floor. The cage is in the run, and the broody returns to the coop at night and is put in the cage during the day.
I'm going to see how effective this method is.

Day 1

Raven is unfamiliar with the cage and is more focused on getting out rather than being broody.

Day 2
Raven's been on the cage since 7:45am (now is 4pm). I let her oit to run in the grass with her friends. When she goes back to the coop I'll put her in the cage again
