Broody Buff Orpington hen in Portland, OR, needs a new home

Looking to re-home a Buff Orpington hen named "Happy". She lost the last of her flock-mates and needs a home where she can be with other chickens.

Happy has recently gone broody and is ready to hatch and raise chicks. She is 3 years old and still lays daily, when she is not broody. Happy's personality is sweet and friendly, but a little shy. She will jump into your lap as long as she is the one to initiate it. She is clever, extremely energetic, playful and loves sun bathing.

Happy has been a free-ranging pet chicken in a small yard her whole life, so she needs a home where she can roam and explore.

I am happy to deliver anywhere in the greater Portland area. If you aren't ready for her to raise chicks, I can break her broodiness before re-homing, I just want her to have a good home.

It was through Craigslist, but I really did appreciate your help. I was pretty stressed out trying to re-home her, not knowing the best place to start.
