broody chicken and warm eggs: manly hen

I have a broody chicken and I work, I can't collect my eggs until late afternoon, and the eggs are warms, are they still good to eat?

I also have two chickens that were with a mean rooster until the rooster attacked me and drew blood. Now the two chickens are alone. I saw one chicken mount the other just like a rooster? what is up with that?

When I grew up on the farm, one of my chores was to collect the eggs. I collected them once a day, about 5:00 p.m. If we had a broody hen, I collected the unmarked eggs from under her at the same time each day and put them with the other eggs. We did not separate them and they were all fine. In my opinion, if you collect the eggs every day and none stay under the broody overnight, you will be OK.
