Hi
This is my first time.
So two of my hens(no idea what breed) are ready to become mothers but they’re still laying eggs, not sitting on the eggs, outside all the time.

My chickens have long since abandoned the nest. They now pay their eggs in the storage room in the cardboard boxes. So it’s open during the daytime. One of the chickens has started breaking eggs and eating them. Soon all the others started eating as well but they don’t break it, they just eat it. With them are the broody chickens.

What should I do??? I want baby chicks.
Thank you

*** First and second pic are broodies
Third is the egg eater.

You can't make a chicken become broody, some never will. You need to collect your eggs daily so they don't continue to get broken and the chickens end up eating them.

IF a hen becomes broody then you can leave the eggs under her.
