Broody chicken, Pheasant eggs

In the fall impeyans go for 150.00 around here.I can easily sex them by then also. Not having a good impeyan hatch this year.I've gotten 15 eggs from 2 pairs and not 1 chick yet.I still have 8 in the bator so hopefully things will turn around.
In N.H.,Tony.
interesting here south Africa all the breeders sell full grown birds or you will get a chick if you pay the price of a full grown

Years ago I used bantams to hatch pheasant eggs and it worked out well. It is a lot more work than incubators because you have to maintain the broody hens with a clean environment, fresh feed and water daily, etc. Otherwise you could end up with disease problems in the young pheasants... Hatch percentage with natural incubation can be higher than incubator and some think certain types of game birds hatched under bantams grow a little better. It looks like Cock-L-Doodle Garoo has a fine set up for it!

My broody hen is sitting on pheasant eggs right now and are due to hatch next week.. I was told not to put pheasants in with chickens because they carry diseases so now Idk what to do about the eggs she's sitting on. Do I let her hatch them out and take care of them or do I take them right after they are born and put them in the brooder? I've read articles on pheasants but nothing seems to answer my question..
Also she's in a raised nesting box will the babies fall out? if I leave her out with the chickens (in her own section of course) will the babies be fine?
First time with a broody - if you couldn't tell already ;)
