well the title says about all of it. LOL

i've got a breeding pen with 1 roo and 2 hens. bantam cochin btw. both hens have gone broody on me, and i was contemplating giving one the 3 turkey eggs and the other some dorking eggs i've got due to hatch the 3rd... if i give them to the broodies, should i move the roo or let him be the good roo he's been with the girls, or??

option #2 is hatch in the incubator and add to the brooder with chicks already in it, ranging from 3 to 10 days old.

comments, suggestions, pros, cons, anything?

edit: meant to add, the girls are willing to share a single nest as they have been, but i gave them a second today and with the heat one did move off the main nest... maybe sharing a nest would be better?

well, the turkey eggs have pipped, so i'm running out of time to decide what i'm going to do... anyone have any suggestions or anything?
