broody cochin doin' her do!

whee! my lovely little cochin "popped" today - she sat her lovely fluffy bottom right down and she's a-broodin'!

totally unexpected but i'm so egg-cited! unfortunately it was not a huge egg day for the rest of the flock so i could only put 8 eggs under her. we're moving her to the brooder box tonite.

i'm so happy! wheeee!! come on' little french hen!
