Broody duck...should I give her a duckling?

I am so sorry. Have you actually seen the other duckling to make sure it's not injured? I had a Muscovy female who was best broody you could ask for soon as hatching started attacked her duckling and injured his head in a couple places I thankfully came in while she was doing it and got him away from her. The other duckling didn't make it. So you need to get a good look at the other duckling. Make sure she isn't attacking it when it tries to come out from under her.

Yes, I’ve checked all over the other duckling, looks fine, no wounds and very lively. It’ll get up and eat some food and water them walk back to mom and cuddle up again. :love
Just sad the other duckling didn’t make it...
Hopefully this one continues to do well:fl their nest is in a nesting box in the coop, so they have the coop all to themselves, but mommy only stays in the nesting box. How long should it be until they get up and start exploring the coop and go outside? I just don’t know how long a mama duck waits until she leaves the nest...

Are more Ducks in this set up? Definitely only keep Momma and baby together. Others will kill the Ducklings

sorry, I thought I had uploaded a reply.
