Broody duck?

I’ve noticed that her voice has gotten deeper within the last month but she hasn’t really nested much.

By nesting, I meant laying eggs in a nest. Ducks that aren't broody generally don't care where they lay. If they are going broody, they prefer to lay in a chosen nesting site.

Oh ok.
She’s(for the most part)been laying an egg a day in the same spot of the nesting area (we’re building them a new coop so they’re in an A-frame coop right now that has a platform that we use as a nesting area).

Edit: We still let them out during the day to let them swim but we keep them locked up at night.
