My Light Sussex has gone broody. She is one of 5 hens with no rooster. I have isolated her, i have put ice packs under her, i turf her off the nest regularly. Its been at least 3 weeks and the others are getting moody and she wont stop being broody! She seems to lay a new egg most days but the others have slowed down drastically. I suspect its because she is sitting in their special place!
What is going on?
HELP!

You have to break her of being broody. I've never been so lucky as to have a broody hen,

, but from what I understand you need to remove her from the nest area completely. Lots of people move them to a dog crate or similar area, with no nesting material. Food, water, exercise and no way to nest for a while.

Try doing a search for broody hen. Good luck, she sounds pretty hardheaded!

Oh, I almost forgot!

Yeah, you'll have to keep her off the nest for a few days straight. Often a wire bottom cage with just food and water will break her as she cant get comfortable. It's all hormonal so doesn't matter if boys or even eggs are around.
