broody game hen? or did she fly the coop, she's broody!

i have also had a game hen that i thought got killed by a fox that had been hangin around till i popped his but with some lead.....but any way about three weeks later here she come with 22 little black butcher/jhonny jumper kelso chicks....yay i was so glad she didnt get killed....as guda said games are one of the most broody's out there ..i use games for hatching some of my standard barnyard breeds

i would say she is broody...i almost garentee it.....

Mine has a pea comb. If your hen was pure, and is colored like mine, she shouldn't have blue legs. If they were green, you would be looking more than likely at some kind of hatch fowl. Either way, it doesn't matter as long as your are happy with her.

I'm glad you found her! Gotta love broody hens, it sounds like she has found a nice spot where she shouldn't be bothered. Its a good sign if no one will mess with her now

they will definately give her room once she has the chicks.
