I think it is has been about a week or a little more since one of my girls hatched two chicks (well, three, but one didn't make it). There are two more eggs under her that she will not give up on. Should I just take them away from her or will she ever realize they are not going to hatch!??

Thanks,

Kristen

Good Morning
You can pull them from under her. I would candle them or listen to them just to make sure they are not still good. But if all the eggs were set at the same time then they are probably no good. Is she leaving them during the day to be out with her chicks or is she holding tight to the nest still? If she is leaving them then they probably are no good. We have a broody that does that also.
