How does her crop feel?

Cant feel her crop till morning now.....but with the time difference between you guys and us here, it'd be great to know what meds are safe to give her. Thanks

I would probably give for 5 days. If it is a bacterial infection that is sensitive to enrofloxacin you should see improvement in 24-48 hours. If after 72 hours you don't see improvement, then you should probably reevaluate.

Yes, it is given orally to ducks. It's quite bitter (don't ask me how I know ), so it needs to be given orally with a syringe.

Oh, and be careful when handling her. And what I mean by that is she's having a hard time breathing and it is likely to get worse when you catch her to medicate her. If her breathing worsens, set her down ASAP and let her recover.
