If i have 2 broody hens, and 5 baby chicks ready for adoption, should i place all the chicks under ONE broody, or should i split the chicks up and give BOTH my hens some babies???
Thank you

This is my first time so i have no clue. The two broody hens were both adopted when they were older, so i dont know if theyve ever had babies around them before. I was told they were a year old.It depends if both hens are good moms or not. Are either experienced? Some hens will take chic and some will peck at them.
Both are silkies. But they are sassy not docile.Mine never took adopties so it depends on the hens mothering skills and the breed can somtimes tell you alot. Whats there breed?
Do you have pics of them? This is my first time so i have no clue. The two broody hens were both adopted when they were older, so i dont know if theyve ever had babies around them before. I was told they were a year old.
Hmmmm... Silkies are normally good moms. Are they friendly when they weren't broody? Both are silkies. But they are sassy not docile.
