I have a broody silkie, she's only a year old so its her first time. She was sitting on eggs for a day then got pecked off by the bigger hens who all laid their eggs on her clutch throughout the day then the broody silkie went back to the eggs for the night. My problem is I don't know exactly how much time was left between everybody keeping the eggs warm, so if the eggs were warmed up for a full night, then cooled too much, then warmed up again, are they no good now? And should I start her over with new eggs? I had them marked so I know which ones were the original.

I'm pretty sure that 1 day isn't going to make much of a difference, but you may need to close her off so that she doesn't get bothered and bounced each day.

How many eggs did you give her? You could also add a few more if it was less than six, just in case.
