Broody Hen and Baby Chicks

Hello! I have an ISA Brown hen that has been acting broody for about a week. My small flock of three birds does not include a rooster. My neighbor has a gen sitting on eggs that should hatch this week, and he has offered me chicks. Would it be a good idea to try to get some chicks and introduce them to my hen? If so, what would be the minimum number that I should try?

Minimum number realistically would be what you want to deal with or add to your flock understanding that roughly 50 % will be cockerels. Slip the chicks under her night so that she bonds with them overnight. Good luck.
