broody hen and duck eggs?

just curious......... will a broody hen hatch fertile mallard duck eggs?

Yep it can be done. One of my bantam hens hatched out and raised my muscovy duck eggs. She was a great mama.

That's awesome! I candled the eggs yesterday and they're good so far. Right on track for day 8. I can't wait to see my hen with her baby ducks!!!

Just keep an eye on her so she doesn't reject or kill her "strange" chicks!
