Broody hen :( Can i give her chicks?

Ok well she is still broody and cranky and i have 12 1 or 2 day old chicks in the brooder. If tonight i just put one of the chicks under and TRY it do yall think it will be ok?

Yes, a friend gave some TSC chicks to some broody silkies and they adopted them.

I thought of a problem with this already. The nesting box she is broody in is about a foot off the ground. If i give her a chick will it fall off and hurt itself?

I would give her a couple that way they have a friend also build a small ramp so the hen and chicks can get out of the nest box she will take them out to show them how to eat and drink good luck.
