Broody hen day 25 on clutch??!!

My wonderful girl Pidge has hatched 5 out of 13 eggs. One a day for the last 5 days since day 21. We luv on her, keep food at her nest, but her comb looks a little pitiful at this point. We are are going to give her a few more days then take the eggs away. Is this the right choice, we dont want her sitting any longer than necessary but we're sure some eggs were added over the first few days after she went broody. Just want to make sure she's ok sitting for 29 days. thx

We had a similar situation with our chicken. At about day 25, we did the warm water test to see if the water rippled. Two out of the last 6 did. The other 4 were rotten, but we hated to give up without being sure. Good luck!
