Broody Hen...do you think this would work?

I have a year-old broody hen that is STUBBORN. I have tried and tried to break her of her broodiness, but she will inevitably go back to being broody a few days after I think she's over it. We had two broodies other than her, but as soon as I put my new chicks in the brooder in the coop, they immediately stopped being broody (this one in particular didn't happen to be broody at the time, of course). I know that the peeping of the chicks is what signals a broody hen that her job is done, but I really can't add any more chicks to my backyard flock of 13 right now. I had the idea of putting a recording of chicks peeping next to her chosen nesting box, to maybe trigger that feeling. Has anybody tried this, or think it will work?

I've never raised chicks from a broody hen before, but I have had a few broody hens. The best thing for me was to put the hen in a cage separate from the others, or with one close friend. The cage shouldn't have a nesting box. Just keep her in there until she lays an egg again.
Hopefully this helps!

That might work.. Luckily I have never had that problem, but I have an upcoming silkie.... Anyway, I have a friend who has a very stubborn hen, so when ever she is broody, they separate her from the flock and put her in a large dog crate (with food and water, of course) inside the house. They began that habit ever since the first time their girl was broody. Now, the girl hardly ever gets broody, because she knows that when she does, she gets separated from her flock which = sadness! Maybe u could try that. If u have not done it before! Good luck!
