Broody Hen for Goslings?

I have a broody LF cochin that has been setting for 1 1/2 weeks. I have 8 toulouse babies due to arrive Wednesday. I'd love to give her the babies and try to get the bator going for the eggs. Has anyone had luck with this? Should I have a back-up brooder ready in case she doesn't want them? She's a super angry broody and I'm afraid she'll hurt them.

I would say give it a shot, I have heard great things about using broodys to hatch for you ... I would however have the brooder ready just in case and keep a really good eye on them for the first few hours or so.. Good luck and take pics ...
